Approximately two years ago the leadership of some of America’s leading Christian schools formed an organization called Council on Educational Standards and Accountability (CESA).   CESA’s stated objective:  “The Council on Educational Standards and Accountability exists to motivate, support, and hold accountable Christian schools that aspire to superlative academic standards, institutional best practices, and collaboration with like-minded schools.”  The Dunham School was chosen as one of twenty schools in the nation to be offered charter membership status, which is obviously a singular honor and puts us in the company of some other great schools across America.

 

It is humbling and deeply gratifying to be involved with our school parents, willing leaders, and great young people and realize that they are seen as living the mission of Dunham.  Again, we are grateful you have chosen TDS to partner with you in the business of school and life.

 

Recently I was invited by CESA leadership to submit a brief article highlighting one of the distinctives of The Dunham School.   It was easy to think of several, but I decided to take a stab at capturing some essence of the “heart” part of “educating the mind and the heart for Christ.”   CESA officials accepted the article and printed most of it in their most recent newsletter.  Read "Innovations in CESA Schools"
